Make sure to have regular eye checks ups, having high blood sugars causes the lens of your eye to swell, which affects how you see. To correct this it’s very important to have yearly eye exams.
Dr. Oscar wants your feet checked, it’s just as important as your yearly eye exam.
Make sure to see your doctor every 3-6 months, so they can check over blood sugar levels and make adjustments if need be.
Whether your going shopping with friends, spending the weekend at grandma’s or going on vacation, it’s very important you pack a bag of essential supplies that you may need.
Exercising is the most natural way to help manage your sugars. As moving your body leads to greater sugar uptake which helps lower your levels.
Just because it says sugar free doesn’t mean it’s good for you. Artificial sweeteners can effect the way your body regulates your blood sugar.
