A Cheat Sheet to Serving Sizes
Hey friends Dr. Oscar buzzing in to share my cheat sheet on serving sizes.
A full hand of grains or cereal is about 30 carbs.
A Full palm of meat, fish or poultry is actually zero carbs as most meats don’t have carbohydrates.
Your index finger is going to be a regular serving of cheese, which also has little to no carbs as well.
The size of your fist is a serving size of fruit, which is around 15 carbs. Fruits are a great snack that have all natural sugars.
And when you put your hands together to form a bowl shape that is roughly a serving size of veggies, which is also around 15 carbs.
